I wandered through the earth
The sphere of my life full of Pain
Though I had fame, possessions and Gold,
True Joy I could not gain.

There was darkness in my Heart,
But then I heard the News
Of a Savior who would welcome me
And become my Refuge!

If your Life is clouded,
With shadows – you can’t see,
Your heart has an empty chasm
And you’re faced with uncertainty.

Go to the Lord in Prayer,
He’ll save you from this Plight,
He knows you’re weak, but He is Strong
He’ll shroud you with his Might!

Then Came the Dawning,
The sun burst forth in Glorious Day!
The Night vanished
Before the Son’s rays!

I found peace in the Cross
In His Radiant Light
He took my blindness upon Himself
And replaced it with his Perfect Sight.
