What would it take

Think of your worst enemy. Pick one thing you don’t like about this person. What would make him or her stop being that way? If it’s bad behavior, maybe it gets this person in trouble. If it’s an annoying habit, it might keep this person from getting something he or she needs. Whatever you decide, imagine the scene where everything falls apart for this character because of his or her bad behavior or annoying habit. Imagine something so awful that this character is forced to recognize and overcome the bad behavior or annoying habit in order to make the trouble stop. Write that scene.

Show the change in a character

Okay, it’d never really happen, but just pretend something has made Ms. Kantduitt realize how awful she’s been. Imagine she’s decided to be decent from now on. Write a scene that shows how much she’s changed.
