Introduce a character

Imagine a character who is 11 years old, a bit bossy and known to stretch the truth sometimes. This character is also smart, full of energy and genuinely interested in other people.  Show readers this character in one or two paragraphs or through a conversation with another character.

Imagine a character who’s a great friend but shy around strangers – so shy that some people think this character is snobby. Write a short scene that shows this shortcoming without using the word “shy.”

Write a conversation between two people that hints at or shows a problem that isn’t easy to solve.
