Hmm, sorry to hear that. I hate writers’ block, too. For me, it’s usually caused by one of two things: either I’m expecting too much too soon or I’m not thrilled with where the story is heading.
Maybe you’re being too hard on yourself. If you try to get everything perfect the first time, it can cause so much pressure that it turns it all off. Try giving yourself permission to write something less than perfect then go back and fix whatever you don’t like about it.
Or maybe you’re trying to do something with your story or characters that your story or characters don’t really want to do. You could try taking your story in a different direction to see if that gets the words flowing again. Close your eyes and imagine your story as a movie in your mind. Just let it happen and see where it takes you.
Or trying asking yourself what’s the worst possible thing that could happen to your characters at this point in the story. Nothing quite like some horrendous trouble to get you excited about your story again.
Would you mind correcting some grammer & spelling mistakes that I made on the Group? If you can edit after posting, that is. I’ve got a list of stuff that will polish my work some more. 🙂
Thanks anyway! 😀 I’m a few sentences from done, but I need to name the town. How does Cherrybirch sound? 🙂 (I allready checked to see if it was a real city. 🙂 )

Good luck and let us know how it goes!

Great! Happy birthday!

(I’d’ve told you, but it wouldn’t’ve come true.)
LOL – I’m glad you got your wish.
thanks

PS: new post today!
Sorry, I don’t offer editing on the site right now but I may in the future.
I’m looking forward to your new post though!

I like it – kind of rolls off the tongue and sounds like a nice place to live.
Oh no. First big mistake I made that I missed:
On The Group,
“I’m right here! You can just ask!”
was supposed to be:
“I’m right here! You can just look!”
““
Oops. Can you change that?
sure
