This guide was developed in collaboration between certified classroom teachers and the author.
It is designed to save you time by providing the specific common core standards addressed for each comp question, discussion starter, and individual/small group activity. The guide includes plenty of vocab too.
When using the guide, please select the vocabulary, questions, discussion starters and activities that are most beneficial to your class. The guide is extensive and not meant to be used in its entirety.
Suggestion: Use the highlighting/comment tools provided in Adobe Reader X (10.1.2) to select your choices and personalize your copy of the guide. (Highlighting/commenting is easy to do and easy to remove, allowing you to customize the guide year after year.)
