Got information? Get your characters talking!

Dialogue, in my opinion, is the quickest and most entertaining way to give readers background information about your characters. The Purple Pheonix used this technique to let readers know how smart his main character is. Click on Purple Pheonix’s Story to see how he did it.

Get inspired!

Need some writing inspiration? Head to the library and grab an armload of books. You’ll be more eager to write your own story after you’ve read a great book. Not only that, but you’ll become a better writer just by reading.

(Don’t you wish everything could be that simple? Wouldn’t it be great if you could learn how to dive, or skate, or fly a plane just by watching someone else?)

If you find a book you’d like to recommend to the rest of us, write a review and post it under Share your work.
